On Watch 4 hotsite they "seem" to indicate that only Galaxy phones will be fully compatible with all the features, so if that's true it's really a bummer (jeez, Samsung WHY, OH WHY). Thanks in advance for any input.

from what I have read there has been some people that managed to sideload the ECG app, but it didn't work. This is just something Samsung won't let you use unless you have a Samsung phone. I have a Pixel 6 Pro and Galaxy watch 4 as well. Sucks, but it's still the best wearOS watch at the moment.

You can use Samsung Pay on non-Samsung phones, I've used it on an Active2 and GW4 with both a OnePlus 7T Pro and Pixel 6 Pro without issue.
