đ Dji Mavic Air Unlock Flight Restrictions
The Advance Unlocking map on the DJI website and the DJI beta cell phone app map but have incorrect No Fly Zone bubble size. The No Fly Zone on the beta app and the DJI Advance Unlocking website map are way too large, it doesn't even match the FAA No Fly Zone size. Not sure why DJI keeps making the bubble on the beta app so large.
Click Unlock GEO Zone under the Safety tab. Select âImport to Aircraftâ next to the text âFlight Controller SNâ on the âAccount Unlocking Licensesâ page. The message âLicense Imported Successfullyâ will show up. Slide the switch next to the âDJI Fly circleâ in the âAircraft Unlocking Licensesâ section by tapping on it.

Offline. 1#. For the many users out there, using an Android device or frustrated with the DJI Virtual Flight App, here is a video that will give you what I consider to be the most crucial information on how to fly your DJI FPV in manual mode. If this came naturally to you when you started flying in manual mode, my hat's off to you, but after
First, DJI will impose the 120-meter restriction on Mini 4 Pro drones bought in the EU after January 1. That means anybody wanting to fly higher than that had better purchase the craft and make the required changes before the New Year. Meanwhile, owner decisions to eliminate the 120-meter EU altitude restriction on those Mini 4 Pro drones are

Getting a zone unlocked in advance is a good plan, but doesn't always work. I was working on a project not far from a small local airport and knew well in advance that I'd need to be unlocked. I got an ATC waiver because the project would last over several days and applied to DJI for a custom unlock of 500meters.
a. DJI Mini 2 / DJI Mavic Air 2: O2 b. DJI Air 2S: O3 c. DJI Mavic 3: O3+ * Unobstructed, free of interference, and when FCC-compliant. Maximum flight range specification is a proxy for radio link strength and resilience. Always follow local rules and regulations and fly your drone within your visual line of sight unless otherwise permitted.
Hi, Since a view days I also own the Mavic Mini. While in the dji GO 4 app it is fairly easy to unlock restricted zones it did not work with the dji Fly App. I need this as I live in a fully restricted zone (close to the Vienna Airport) but there is a huge indoor flight hall. As long as I dont get GPS signal I can fly indoors but once GPS is received the drone starts to automatically land
UK. May 7, 2020. #5. I've flown in a DJI imposed altitude restricted zone in the UK (airport flightpath) and just had to acknowledge the warning by tapping on it to be able to take off. For the record, the area was legally OK for flying in, and sufficiently safe too, as ground closer to the airport rises more than 120m above the area I was located.
I get Aloft clearance no sweat. Then of course, I get the DJI geo lock (sigh). I connect my remote to my cell phone's cellular hot spot (in the past with the RC-1N, I'm using my cell phone directly for all this). I get on the RC Pro built-in Firefox browser app to log in to DJI FlySafe to apply for unlock.
The DJI Mavic Air is the newest drone in the âconsumerâ line of products. At an MSRP of $799 for the drone itself, it is twice more expensive than the most basic âSparkâ, but $300 cheaper than its larger brother, the Mavic Pro. Thanks to its foldable design, it is the smallest of the three.
The "workaround" would be to get the proper clearance and then go to the DJI safe fly website and do a custom unlock for the area. The unlock will be rejected if the FAA has an NFZ in place. Looks like you can get approval up to the 400' max from what I see on the map. Of course, I don't know your exact location.
Kindly please make sure that you configure your Max Altitude if you wish to fly beyond 500m. Launch the DJI Fly > Go to Settings > Safety > Flight Protection and then set the Max Altitude. Also, if you are within the restricted area, you may send an email to flysafe@dji.com for unlocking before the flight.

Part two is a 150-meter height-restricted area, which extends 8.4 km outwards from the corners of part one. In an Authorization Zone, all flight is restricted by default, but users can self-unlock with a
